Change of Use Planning Drawings for a Dog Exercise Field

Date

March 2026

Location

Buckinghamshire

Scope

We were approached by a private applicant seeking planning permission to change the use of agricultural land to a dog exercise field in Buckinghamshire.

The project required the preparation of a series of planning drawings, including a location plan, existing and proposed site plans, and visibility splays drawing for the site access. The applicant had already secured details for elevations relating to small structures and fencing, and therefore required our support specifically in relation to the site layout and land-based drawings.

Delivery

M2 Consulting produced a full set of drawings in line with planning requirements, ensuring they accurately reflected both the site constraints and the client’s vision for the development.

The proposed layout included:

  • Surrounding grassland and areas of wildflower planting
  • An enclosed paddock designed for dog exercise and agility activities
  • Visitor parking provision
  • Improved site access from the highway, including gated entry and associated hardstanding

The completed drawings provided a clear and compliant representation of the proposed development, supporting the planning application and enabling the client to present their scheme with confidence.
