Parcel Design and Review

We produce and review estate road and on-site highway design in accordance with local and national guidance. Our design review process checks the parcel design geometry to ensure it can be fixed prior to proceeding with the residential or commercial development of the parcel.

Key processes to check are both junction, forward, and pedestrian visibility splays, vehicle tracking and swept path analysis for movement by all vehicles including refuse and emergency vehicles.

S38 Technical Approval

We produce a detailed design of the proposed highway works to gain S38 Technical Approval and ensure the road is adopted by the local authority.

Our design includes General Arrangement, horizontal and vertical alignment, paving and kerbing details, and proposed construction details, all in accordance with the design criteria of the local authority.
